Beth Hart, a Los Angeles native she is a blues-influenced singer and street performer who was formerly. In 1995 she made her debut with Immortal. Her outspoken style and gifted musicianship attracted attention in addition to her live shows that were emotional and her voice that was compared to Janis Joplin. Chuck Taylor, Billboard's October 2nd, 1999 issue wrote that Hart is "the the epitomize of a natural woman," and was "bawdy and hilarious, chatty and witty with her selection of spicy languages, free-wheeling and free-wheeling." But that's not much contrasted with her onstage presence that is where the tall, athletic singer/songwriter dances and belts through songs with the intensity that is Mick Jagger ....
