Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne with three other siblings. She was 17 when her parents divorced. Additional financial problems came about when their business went bankrupt. The financial problems of her family were made worse by her anorexia and bulimia. Gossow's response to her decision to stop performing as the lead singer for the band ARCH ENEMY was straightforward The answer was: There's a proper and incorrect moment for everything. The whole thing began in 1991. I realized that it was not fun living a life of nomadism. Instead of pretending I quit, I decided to stop. The group's initial frontman was Johan Liiva, who was eventually substituted by German singer Angela Gossow.
