Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been as a performer, model and advocate for animal rights in the US. Ali MacGraw is famous for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The daughter of an artistic family living in New York she wished to work in the field of art. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. She was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising actor. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought the world to her, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three years, she had been voted as the top female box office participant in the entire world. In Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she got her name and footprints hand-engraved.
